成长 在路上
一节示范课的启示
近来,我们评课中出现了一个新词------核心素养。刚听到它时,我是一头雾水。后来,我们学校就初中英语学科核心素养这个专题,有针对性地进行了几次积极有效的探索。几天前的一次示范课,就是其探索之一,我聆听了之后,深有感触。
那是人教版九年级全一册第十四单元Section B的阅读课。在阅读前的环节中,授课老师以问题讨论切入:
T: What is the
most important thing you have learned in junior high school? Please discuss it
with your partner.
几分钟后,授课老师邀请几个学生与我们分享一下他们的答案:
S1: I
have learned some useful knowledge.
T:
Good! Thank you. How about you?
S2: I
have known how to get on well with others.
T:
Congratulations! As we all know, it’s very important to know how to get along
well with others. Right ?
Ss :
Yes.
T:
OK. Who else?
S3: …
出乎我的意料,孩子们的回答竟如此精彩!当有学生回答〝I am sorry.〞的时候,授课老师不是让他立刻坐下,换别的学生回答,而是鼓励他 “You can tell us in Chinese. Just have a try, OK?” 就这样,在授课老师热情地期待中,刚刚不会作答的孩子,也慢慢地拾起了自信。这一切,作为观课者的我都看在眼里,不由得对这为年轻的授课老师竖起了大拇指。
接着过渡到对文本的解读。在细读环节,授课老师呈现了2c的六个问题。
T:
Now let us read the questions together. After that, please work in pairs to
read the passage carefully and find the answers to the questions. Go !
在给学生几分钟的准备后,
T:
Which pair can have a try? Maybe you two, please. One reads Question 1, and the
other answers it. Clear?
Ss
: Yes.
S1:
What were the students like in Grade 7?
S2:
They were all so full of energy and thirsty for knowledge.
T:
So how do you know? Which sentences from the passage can help get the answer?
S2:
“I remember meeting all of you when you were just starting Grade 7 at this
school. You were all so full of energy and thirsty for knowledge.”
T:
Do you agree with her?
Ss
: Yes!
T:
I also agree with you. You did a good job! Thank you. Sit down, please. Next
one…
我注意到,对于这些问题,授课老师不是简单的让学生知道正确答案是什么便了事,而是追问一句:“你怎么知道的?”以此引导学生深入学习,知其所以然。就这样,在授课老师的引导下,学生在不知不觉中掌握了阅读的策略,所谓“润物细无声”,大概就是这样的吧。 而且在学习中,孩子们互相帮助,共同进步,这也培养了他们合作互助的品质。
在阅读后的环节中,授课老师组织小组活动:
T:
Now work in groups, first of all, underline the sentences you like in the
passage. Then tell the others in your group what the sentences mean and why you
like them. After that , share with us. Go.
我观察到,当孩子们在讨论时,授课老师走到他们中间,一会儿加入这个组的讨论,一会儿加入那个组的,那氛围,在音乐的衬托下,显得格外温馨和柔美,仿佛一幅画。而我,被这幅美丽的画卷打动着,吸引着。接下来的展示环节,孩子们又让我惊讶了一把。
一直以来,我都认为,只要学生记住了词汇,背诵了课文,懂得了词汇的用法,考试就一定能考好。学生考好了,我作为英语老师的任务就完成了。自从聆听了这节课,我一直坚持的,以为是正确的“真理”,这时也让我怀疑起来。同时,我对初中英语学科的核心素养又有了新的认识------我们的教育培养的是人,是各个方面都健全的人,是具有探索精神和创新精神的人。作为一线的一名初中英语教师,我必须做出改变,以适应新时代的发展。所以学习,成长,一直在路上。
