作为一名教师,在日常的教学中,表扬是我们重要的教育手段,孩子们也都喜欢听到表扬的话。在整个课堂教学中,我觉得还要采用有吸引力的话语评价学生并配以表情、动作,学生更会喜欢英语。这样课堂中就形成“课伊始,趣已生;课正行,趣正浓;课已毕,趣犹存”的英语特色,课堂引人入胜,学生乐学爱学,负担轻了,效果却增强了。平时在一堂课中我一般采用以下各种表扬激励的方法。
一.课前阶段(warming up )
在这一阶段,我们可以表扬学生良好的学习状态和精神风貌,表扬他们整洁的教室环境以及他们上节课留给你的美好记忆甚至学生们的服饰发型等等。总之,我们需要通过热情洋溢的话语来唤醒学生的学习热情,减少部分学生的紧张情绪,拉近师生距离,为上新课酝酿好情绪。例如我们可说you look great today.(你们今天看上去很棒。)/ you are looking sharp!(你们看上去真精神/真棒/真漂亮。)/ you look like a million dollars. = you look outstanding.=you look like a movie star.(你看上去帅呆了。)/ this is really a nice place.(这真是个好地方!)/you look nice in that color.(你穿那种颜色很好看。)/your classroom looks tidy and clean!(你们的教室很整洁)/ you have a good taste.(你很有品位。) /you're beautiful 你太美了/ you're unique 你太不寻常了
二.课中阶段(new teaching and practice)
在这一阶段,我们要鼓励学生积极参与课堂活动,展示他们的英语才能,学习新的知识与技能,尤其是那些英语基础较差的学生,更需要我们通过火热的表扬来引导他们。我们可以表扬他们的英语水平,奇思妙想和参与的精神。我们要表扬他们的正确作答,更要激励他们勇于尝试。
a.对于他们的良好表现我们可以说:excellent(优秀的)/good (好)/outstanding (杰出的)/super(极好的)/beautiful(美极了)/great (伟大的)/fantastic (太奇妙了)/well done(做得好)/how nice(多好啊)/good job (干得出色)/you did a good job. (你干得非常好。)/we’re so proud of you.(我们十分为你骄傲)/you're so smart.(你非常聪明)/i'm proud of you . (我为你而骄傲)/nice work (干得好)/ you're on top of it (你是数一数二的) /terrific(极好的) /cool(棒极了)/congratulations!(祝贺你!)/claps(鼓掌!)
b.当学生遇到困难时我们可以说:don't worry.(别担心) /try again!(再试一下)/ let's try again(再试试) /try your best.(尽你所能)/you can do it(你能做到的)/ you’re on your way (你在前进中)/i knew you could do it (我知道你能做的)//you're improving (你在进步)/you're on target (你达到目标了)/ you're on your way (你在前进中)/ i like your work (我欣赏你的工作)/i can see your progress(我已经看到了进步) / you have half way there(你快成功了) / that’s almost right(你快对了)/that’s not quite right, any other answers? (那不是很正确,还有答案吗?)
c.当学生勇敢尝试时我们可以这样鼓励他们:don’t be shy, just try!(别害羞,大胆试!)/ you've discovered the secret (你已经发现了秘密)/ i like the way you handled that (我欣赏你的做法)/ creative job (创造性的完成任务)/ what an imagination (多么丰富的想象力!)/ look how far you've come(瞧,你已经有多领先了)/i have confidence in your judgment(我坚信你的判断)/ i trust you (我相信你)/ how did you do that? (你怎样完成的?)
d.当我们需要表扬学生的英语水平和良好的学习态度时,可以这样说:your english is incredible.(我真不敢相信你的英语)/ your english is really surprising.(你的英文令人惊讶)/ you have a good command of english(你的英语水平很好)/ you have a very large vocabulary. (你的词汇量很丰富)/ your spoken english /handwriting/ pronunciation is good. (你的口语/书写/发音很好) / your english sounds wonderful. (你的英语听起来很美妙)/ what a good listener (多么专注的听众啊)/ you have a good attitude toward learning english. (你对学习英语的态度很好) / you have a good learning method (你的学习方法很好)
三.课后阶段(summary)
在这一阶段,我们可以对这一节课学生的整体或个人的表现进行鼓励表扬,告诉他们你对他们是多么满意和喜爱,使他们能以愉悦期待的心情盼望着下节英语课。
thank you for your cooperation.(谢谢你们的配合)/you made my day (你今天真让我高兴)/you brighten my day (你让我今天增辉不少)/ you make me laugh (你让我开怀大笑)/ you're sensational (你真令人感动)/ you'll make it (你一定会成功的)/ i'm proud of you(我为你而骄傲)/ i’m very pleased with your work.(我对你的工作非常满意)/ i am very satisfied with your performance(我对你的表现非常满意)/ this lesson is very successful!(这节课很成功)
众所皆知,人人都想得到别人的赏识,人人都需要他人的鼓励。英语课堂中老师充满激励的肯定和赞扬能让学生不断获得学习的动力,在自信中走向成功;同时也能活跃课堂气氛,融洽师生关系,提高学生学习英语的积极性,让英语课堂充满活力。
